Cactus & Rain Poncho

I designed this look for Beyond Fashion 2026, a runway show dedicated to showcasing student work and local talent in fashion design. With a focus on versatility and play, these garments can adapt to many different uses. The form of the Cactus allows it to function as both a wearable object and a soft accessory, like a pillow or scarf, while the multi-colored tabs on each piece encourage a range of uses.

I oversaw every stage of production, managing manufacturing, sourcing materials and sample development. The Cactus is constructed from cotton corduroy for maximum comfort, while the poncho is made from waterproof nylon fabric to balance functionality with wearability.

Cactus was also featured in Vignelli Center for Design Studies student exhibition in 2025.
