Sogni AI, Installation, Web Development

This interactive installation was built for RIT's Creative Collision 2025 event, a multi-day collaboration where groups of students create a project in response to a prompt. This year's prompt was to 'poke the bear,' which encouraged us to push AI to its limits and see what creative and innovative solutions we could come up with. My group developed an installation where users are invited to construct physical compositions which are then captured and re-imagined through Sogni AI via themed filters.

Development

Running on a touchscreen TV, the digital interface was a locally-hosted web app built with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Users could select a camera, view a live composition feed, and choose between three filters: Castle, House, or Organic Structure. Hitting the capture button produced four iterations of the transformed composition through the chosen filter.
